About MeWelcome to my little musical world! I'm Hailey from Singapore, and I'm so happy you're here. Ever since I can remember, music has been a magical part of my life. It follows me wherever I go. I love sharing music naturally, whether I'm performing on stage, in a concert hall, recording in a studio, learning during my lessons, or playing in beautiful places while travelling with my family. Every note I play becomes part of a precious memory, helping me discover new places, meet wonderful people, and grow not only as a young musician but also as a well-rounded person.
My musical journey began with the piano in 2023 and later blossomed into a love for the violin. I've been incredibly fortunate to learn from wonderful teachers who encourage me to believe in myself, embrace new challenges, and enjoy every step of the journey. They remind me that music is about so much more than playing the pieces. It's about telling stories, sharing joy, expressing feelings, and touching hearts.
When I'm not practising, you'll probably find me watching The Magic School Bus, Octonauts, Lucas the Spider, Hey Duggee, Trash Truck, and Bluey. One of my all-time favourite animated movies is Abominable because of its beautiful story, breathtaking music, and touching violin scenes.
Here's a little secret about me! I'm also a proud plushie collector! I love bringing home adorable plushies from our family adventures because each one reminds me of a special place and a beautiful memory. My two favourite plushies are Chou Chou and Yang Yang. They always make me smile and are my cuddly companions wherever I go. If we ever meet, I'd be absolutely delighted if you introduced me to another cute plushie to join our little family!
Teacher Clare is a warm, caring, and dedicated piano teacher who is truly passionate about nurturing young children. Her patience, kindness, and encouraging nature make every lesson enjoyable and meaningful, especially for beginners like me.
When I first started learning piano in 2023, I had no musical background at all. I was simply a little girl excited and curious about attending my very first trial lesson. From the moment I met Teacher Clare, she made me feel comfortable and welcomed. She introduced me to the piano in a fun and engaging way, allowing me to explore the black and white keys and discover the joy of making music.
What I admire most about Teacher Clare is that she always gives her students the freedom and space to learn and grow at their own pace. She never rushes us or places unnecessary pressure on us. Instead, she creates a positive, supportive, and stress-free environment where learning feels natural and enjoyable.
One piece of advice she often shares with me is, “Enjoy the process, embrace every experience, and always play with your heart.” These simple yet meaningful words have stayed with me throughout my musical journey. Her positive teaching approach and unwavering encouragement have helped me develop not only my piano skills but also a genuine love for music.
